this is a rough list, and will likely be added to / modified as time goes on

• get IPC working between root-process and worker-process
• port IPC to sockets for internet IPC instead of posix message queues
• get worker to parse configuration and send it to the root-process
• get root-process to send instructions to worker
• get repository syncronization
• package building
• package downloading (requires server side stuff for the repo)
• implement queries and deletions
